General instructions:
The ePortfolio assignment is embedded in all courses throughout the nurse practitioner program. For Week 8 in each course, you will upload selected assignments to the Course Artifacts section of the portfolio. In your capstone practicum course, you will complete the Introduction section of the ePortfolio.
Course Artifacts should collectively demonstrate growth in critical thinking, new graduate nurse practitioner clinical competence, scholarly writing, and professional development that occurred during the program of study. 
If you have not done so already, begin by setting up your ePortfolio. Use the detailed, step-by-step guideLinks to an external site. and view the ePortfolio tutorials in the Student Resource CenterLinks to an external site. for further guidance.
Create the ePortfolio in Canvas.
Click on your Account in the blue taskbar.
Click on the ePortfolio box.
Click “+Create an ePortfolio.”
Name your ePortfolio.
Enter the name in the ePortfolio Name box. (Example: Marc Conflan’s ePortfolio)
Add a checkmark to “Make it Public”.
Select the “Make ePortfolio” box.
Create sections.
Set up your ePortfolio pages by selecting “Organize Sections” at the left of the page.
Add section names.
Select “Add Section” and type “INTRODUCTION” into the box.
Include information for the introduction page.
Select “Add Section” again and type “COURSE ARTIFACTS” into the box.
If you need to change the order of the pages, select the “wheel” symbol, and choose the “Move to” option to move the texts in the order desired.
When you are done, select the “Done Editing” box.
Create a page for this course.
Select “Course Artifacts” on the left.
Click on “Organize/Manage Pages”.
Select “New Page”.
Type the number of your first course – NR581NP – in the page name text box.
Select “Save Page”.
Create pages for your remaining courses.
Click on Course Artifacts.
Select “+ Add Another Page”.
Repeat for each course in your program from beginning to end.
When you are done, click “Done Editing”.
You will include three files for this course and should include the following submitted assignments:
Week 2 Scope of Practice Worksheet
Week 4 Implicit Bias Training Certificate of Completion
Week 8 Collaboration Café initial post
Add course artifacts to the course page.
Select the “NR581NP” so that it is bold.
Click “Edit this Page”.
Select file.
Add your required course artifact (word doc or pdf) by clicking on the “Image/File Upload” link.
Upload the file.
Scroll down and select the “Choose File” box.
Choose the document that you want to upload from your computer and hit “Select/Upload File”. You will know that your file is attached when you see the name in the file as a blue hyperlink.
When you are done uploading your file, select the “Save Page” button.
Repeat steps 7-9 to add additional artifacts.
Arrange the order of documents.
If you have more than one file and you would like to change the order in which they appear, hover over the up and down arrow in the top left-hand corner next to “Image/File Upload”.
Now you can drag the file to rearrange the order.
Save the page after each artifact has been added.
