Every time you read your chosen book, you are asked to keep track of your reading by completing an entry in your reading log. You are asked to complete a minimum of 15 reading log entries as you read your book.

Title of Book and Author’s Name:
Has your book been approved by your instructor?

You are going to be asked to submit your in progress reading log to your teacher when you are finished reading one-third of your book (by the end of Unit 3), two-thirds of your book (by the end of Unit 5), and when you are finished reading the whole book (by the end of Unit 7).

To find out how many pages are in the first one-third of your book, take the total number of pages and divide that number by 3. That’s how many pages you need to read by the end of Unit 3.

How many total pages does your book have?
I need to read up to page ________ by the end of Unit 3 (first one-third of the book).
I need to read up to page ________ by the end of Unit 5 (two-thirds of the book).
I need to read up to page ________ by the end of Unit 7 (whole book).
